DUFF (Destroyed Underground Film Festival) is underground cinema for underground people. A showcase of the best of contemporary, underground cinema. The bold, the brave, the unconventional and underrepresented voices that keep this artform moving forward. The festival culminates in a five-film showcase on November 21 at Cinecenta in Victoria, BC, with five pop-up screenings taking place in DIY spaces throughout the city during the week leading up to the main event.
We respectfully acknowledge DUFF takes place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, specifically the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, whose historical and ongoing relationship with this land continues to this day.
